Hello ya'll!!
How are you doing this morning? Are you ready for the last day of the year? Congratulations, you've made it through another year of wearing ALL the hats you wear. Thank you so much for being you. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for being such an awesome parent that you've subscribed to this newsletter to keep you informed. There is so much to do in Frisco, Prosper, Little Elm & this whole DFW area. It can be so overwhelming trying to find things to do. It can also be nearly impossible keeping it all in one place. I have been so grateful to have the opportunity to become your Publisher and Editor for Macaroni Kid Frisco. I look forward to a great year in 2020. I have so much fun planned for you.
In the meantime today is a perfect day to just be. Spend time with your family. Reflect on the past year and make some plans for the New Year. Not necessarily resolutions. But clear and present plans or declarations. What are your goals for your family in 2020? How has your family changed in 2019? And how can you accomodate those changes and nurture the growth in your kids?
I have a lovely friend here at Macaroni Kid Lakewood who actually has an awesome printable for you. It is a time capsule interview. Go over the questions with your kids and reflect on their year and maybe even learn something you didn't know. You can keep the time capsule in a container such as a mason jar or box. The kids will have so much fun reading their answers in the coming years.
I will be doing the time capsule today with my kids. I cannot wait, and I hope you have fun with yours.
